Bottley Bar & Coffee Shop

Nestled in the heart of Three Rivers, the Bottley Bar and Coffee Shop is more than just a place to grab a drink; it’s a cornerstone of the community, where Shifters and humans alike gather to share stories, find comfort, and build connections.

The Bottley was established by the Pack long ago, born out of a tragedy that shook the entire Pack. A young female shifter, Bottley Harris, once full of life and love, found herself trapped in a fated mate bond with Nesper, the Pack Beta, and a man she never truly loved. Her heart had always belonged to Nesper’s younger brother, Osis, a love that seemed destined to be until the fated mate bond snapped into place with Nesper.

Bottley was increasingly unhappy with Nesper and still loved Osis. Rumors swirled that Nesper had always been jealous of the love between Osis and Bottley. It is said that he made a deal with the Moon Goddess to alter the fated bond that would have settled between Osis and Bottley so that it came to him instead.*

When Osis discovered the truth, a brutal altercation erupted, and tragically both brothers were killed in the fight. Distraught, Bottley tried to kill herself but was stopped by the Alpha pair at the time, Aspen and Brome Ripplecove, who discovered Bottley in the Westfall river. Aspen, fearing Bottley would, in her grief and despair, try again, took action.

Aspen and Brome ordered the building of a bar and coffee shop and gave it to Bottley to manage. It being both a coffee shop in the day and a bar at night, meant that there would be people around Bottley all the time, keeping her company. Pack members and townsfolk alike flocked to Bottley’s Bar, not just to keep an eye on her but to share their own stories, hopes, and dreams. Over time, Bottley’s Bar became a place of healing—a safe haven where the broken could mend, and where community bonds grew stronger with every cup of coffee poured and every drink served.

Although originally referred to as Bottley’s Bar, over time this has changed to the Bottley Bar and Coffee Shop.

Today, the Bottley is owned by the mysterious Lucian Black and Darla Ash and run by werewolf Sofia Miller, who has carried on the tradition of the Bottley Bar being a sanctuary for Shifters and humans alike.

*While it has never been proved that it is possible to alter a fated mate bond in this way, some recent evidence suggests that the witches, under the leadership of the traitor Simon Webster, have found a way to interfere with the mate bond between Shifters.
